THE ARAGONESE
aragonese
- b/w engraving Godey's Jan. 1861
Made of back taffeta. This garment is made without the stuff being more than an easy fulness at,the back, but is arranged with the material being pinched in broad folds upon the shoulders. This presents an imposing effect. A passementerie, with a ruched edge, ornaments the upper portion.
[ From the establishment of G. Brodie, 51 Canal Street, New York. Drawn by L. T. Voight, from actual articles of costume.]
